70 years on from the first ever Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1947, we have arrived at a moment in history that is perhaps as close as most of us have come in our lifetimes to being as testing, unpredictable and momentous as that post-war era. In these challenging times, it seems more important than ever to spend time together, learn from each other and celebrate everything that is good about the world. In designing our 2017 festival programme, we hope that we have created opportunities for you to do just that.
Including our Nothing Ever Happens Here... programme.
