A theatre breakfast with tea, coffee and two performances from our menu:
Clios’ Story: a bold, physical adaptation of the Oedipus myth. Oedipus is confronted by the tragic, poetic story of his travelling companion.
Orpheus: a contemporary lyrical and musical adaptation of the mythological tale of love and despair, written by Nick Borsack.
The Ship: an adaptation of Takiji Kobayashi’s 1923 novel of working class struggle, Kani Kosen, exploring the vivid imagery of workers’ oppressed lives at sea under the dominance of the capitalist machine.
