Following last year’s Fringe success and UK tour, Bertrand & Nasi’s darkly comic look at the EU’s founding ideals returns to Summerhall for just four performances. Two performers – one Greek, one French – dance and shout, cry and sing, agree and disagree, about life in the Eurohouse. Made in transit between Greece and the UK, ‘this wonderfully playful, intimate and ultimately moving show… constantly pits idealism against self-interest and pragmatism’ (**** Guardian). In 2016, Bertrand & Nasi were nominated for a Total Theatre Award for Innovation, Experimentation and Playing with Form for Eurohouse.
Catch Bert & Nasi’s new show, PALMYRA, also at Summerhall, from 2-13 August (13:15).
