This August Rhythm Machine ​- a night of dance music & live art – ​returns to ​Summerhall for three consecutive Saturday nights after a twelve month sell-out run in 2015/16. ​ Resident DJ ​s Francis Dosoo &​ Yves​ play unboundaried drum fantasies across genres – from ​Nigerian Disco to Detroit Techno, ​Belgian New Beat to Ballroom. Alongside the main dancefloor​ contemporary artists present new work every ​week, using the platform as a testbed for performances, installations and whatever else works. ​ August’s guest artists are Claire Pearce, Cave Collective & James St Findlay. Rhythm Machine believes strongly in values of co-operation and self-expression and aims to create a safe space for all clubgoers.
